An award-winning manufacturer and supplier of high-quality herbal teas, Dalgety Teas products are instantly recognisable by their exotic, colourful boxes. Available to buy online and in major supermarkets and speciality food stores, ingredients are sourced from small ethical farmers in the Caribbean and around the world.
Client requirements
As a growing company, Dalgety Teas required shrink wrap machinery which could keep up with the demands of its busy UK factory in Surrey.
Mark Dalgety, founder of Dalgety Teas, approached Adpak as well as other packaging providers, with some specific requirements; one fully automatic machine which could shrink wrap individual cartons of tea to a high-quality display finish, and a second semi-automatic machine to shrink wrap collated cartons in shelf ready display trays.
Services provided
With the products and technical expertise required to meet Dalgety’s needs, Adpak’s experienced team installed a fully automatic L sealer FP6000A 450T machine, and a FP560A semi-automatic 450T machine, at the client’s factory. An output of between 800 to 2,400 packs per hour make them ideal models for a range of products and industrial sectors.
